Harcros Chemicals, Kansas City, KS, manufactures and distributes industrial and specialty chemicals for customers in the United States. Its campus is far reaching and has many buildings located throughout. Its alarm notification system had become antiquated. With safety foremost in its mind, Harcros looked to Sound Products to convert their system to a digital network for the entire campus, providing both emergency notification and paging.
Design
TSI worked closely with Harcros to define the parameters of the project in terms of signal coverage and camera locations. Once the scope of the project was complete, the installation commenced.
Install
As the Harcros complex is an operating facility, TSI is challenged with keeping the installation not only safe, but unobtrusive to the production process and workforce. We coordinated with Harcros to determine optimal work hours.
Support
Harcros has a ongoing maintenance support agreement in place. On a monthly basis, TSI tests equipment and repairs or replaces any defective devices.
